Colonia Sant Jordi, which is also known in some guide books as "Port de Campos", is the principal coastal development of the municipal district of Ses Salines which is on the extreme south east corner of Mallorca. The Colònia de Sant Jordi spreads out over the fabulous beaches of Ets Estanys, and Es Trenc on one side and Es Dolç and Es Carbó on the other. This area, wich used to be home to a few fishermen, is today one of the most popular tourist centres on the island.

An unspoilt beach which is 400 m long and 40 m wide. It has fine white sand and a sandy seabed and is surrounded by pine trees and dunes. To get here, follow the Avinguda Marquès del Palmer in the tourist resort of Colònia de Sant Jordi until you reach the square of Plaça de la Constitució, then turn left and follow the signs to this beach. Services: sun loungers and parasols for hire.

 

 


Es Port beach

Es Port beach

150 m long and 25 m wide, is surrounded by buildings and a promenade with palm trees. It is located next to the port in Colònia de Sant Jordi. Services: restaurants, bars, lifeguards, shops, sun loungers, beach parasols, pedal boats, etc.

 

 

 


Es Dolc beach

Es Dolç

One of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches in Mallorca and can be easily reached by walking towards the left for 250 m along the promenade from Es Port beach. It is 350 m long and 25 m wide, with fine white sands and a sandy seabed. Services: an open-air bar, sun loungers and parasols.

 

 

 


Es Carbo beach

Es Carbó

A very beautiful unspoilt beach which is over 1,400 m long and 50 m wide, with some little islands and the Natural Park of the archipelago of Cabrera in front of it. The sand is fine and white and the seabed is sandy. Behind the beach there are dunes which are fixed down by old pine trees, savin trees, wild olive trees, sea lilies and sandy thistles. To get here, you have to walk left along the coast for 2,300 m from Es Port beach in Colonia de Sant Jordi, passing Es Dolç on the way.
