Palma Nightlife

Nightclubs in Palma

Palma is like any European city when it comes to nightlife and many well-known DJs come to Palma to perform. The city has a wide range of clubs, bars & restaurants and unlike other parts of the island, nightlife in Palma is all year round.

One of the most popular nightlife haunts is Sa Llotja where the pubs and bars are often packed until one in the morning when everyone heads off to Passeig Maritim where the nightlife venues stay open until five or six o'clock in the morning.

C/Apuntadors Sa Llotja is where you will find lots of English and Irish bars which are just as popular with the locals as they are with the tourists and the atmosphere is always very lively. If you are into the live music scene, there are plenty of bars offering a variety of live music including Jazz, Blues and traditional Flamenco.

Passeig Maritim is the more raunchy area of Palma and is very popular with the gay scene and grunge/indie scene. Here you will find plenty of sex shops and topless bars.
