Santa Ponca - Santa Ponsa (Catalan: Santa Ponça due to a roman village called Santa Pontia) is a holiday resort in the south-west of Majorca. Located in the municipality of Calvià, it is 18 kilometres from the capital Palma. The resort is popular with Irish, Scottish, German and Dutch tourists. It is predominantly a summer resort with the season lasting from May to October. A family resort with plenty of bars, restaurants and nightly entertainment, and a clean and safe beach. There are two top golf courses in Santa Ponsa but visitors are only allowed to use the Santa Ponsa I course which, like Santa Ponsa II, has hosted a PGA European Tour event.

Jaime 1 very close to the beach, Scottish Corner is an ideal venue to sit back and enjoy a cold drink & a plate full of fresh, home-cooked food whilst the kids entertain themselves on the numerous child-friendly games available on the roof terrace such as go-karts, basketball, air-football, dance mat and pool not to mention the free giant sized bouncy castle!
Santana Beach
Welcome to Santana Beach - The Club with the Sun, the Soul and the Sound. Santana Beach is a real gem of a bar with a fantastic club feel to it. Located on the main street opposite Santa Ponsa Beach and located close to Hesperia Playas de Mallorca, Santana Beach offers guests a good choice of delicious food, sufficient choice of refreshing drinks to please everyone and at night, the opportunity to be entertained by the resident DJ playing the kind of music that will make you want to jump onto the dance floor and boogie all night long.
The Wolfe Tone Cafe Music Bar
This establishment is situated between Santa ponsa and Costa de la Calma & is ideal for the locals and tourists alike. Here you be welcomed with a big smile and can relax in the luxury surroundings whilst sipping your favourite drink.
You can not visit the Wolfe Tone without sampling their fantastic homemade cooking which is hearty and plentiful.
The Elms
This Irish establishment is ideally situated at the end of Santa Ponca and the beginning of Costa de la Calma.
The owners offer you a huge welcome and the crac is mighty every night with all the tables full and the large expansive children's play area a heaven for those of you who need to tire the kids out before you put them down for the night.

Khaan's restaurant in Santa Ponsa offers cuisine from the East with magical flavours of herbs and spices. There is an extensive menu with all the favourite curry dishes one would expect. Here, where 'only the best will do' there is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for all the family.

A typical spanish cafe with all the local favourites, always busy and bustling with locals and tourists alike. Open all year round set away from the beach in Santa Ponsa near the post office. A must visit for the Mallorcan feel.
Acapulco
The Acapulco Cafe bar is situated in the middle of Santa Ponsa, less 100yds from the beach. This is a small spanish bar where tourists and locals alike sit and watch the world go by. It is very popular in the morning and early evening.

Bobby's Bistro & Bar
There's a good variety of breakfasts on the menu at Bobby's ranging from English to Irish to Scottish to Veggie to Bobby's Monster Madness (now there's a challenge!). The menu consists of a good choice of traditional British & Irish Grub and there's even a Take Away Menu consisting of goodies such as Fish & Chips, Scampi, Spare Ribs, Chicken Kiev, Roast Chicken, Steak Pie, Burgers and Doner Kebabs. The sit-down-eat-in menu includes starters, a 3 course meal and a Sunday Roast (which is great).
